  • SummaryCharlotte Douglas International Airport (“CLT”) is seeking a firm (“Firm”) qualified to perform environmental consulting, engineering, and remedial services (“Work”) particular to North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (“NCDEQ”) Underground Storage Tank (“UST”) Section Incident #18989, located at 5414 Airport Drive and properties adjacent (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”).

The adjacent properties may be owned by persons or entities other than the City of Charlotte. Tasks performed under this scope will be directly related to NCDEQ guidance and directives (both current and prospective) to address the presence, recovery, monitoring, and assessment of light non-aqueous phase liquid (“LNAPL”) and associated hydrocarbons potentially located subsurface and/or on surface water, potentially including the identification of the source of such pollutants.

The City requires the awarded vendor(s) to obtain and maintain the following insurance coverage types:

  • Automobile-For automobile operations liability
  • Errors & Omissions / Professional Liability-For negligence or failure to perform in a professional capacity
  • General Liability-For bodily injury or property damage, arising from products, premises, completed work, personal & advertising injury
  • Workers Compensation-For lost wages and medical expenses of injured workers
