Upcoming Opportunities

An Upcoming opportunity is a project the city intends to release in the future. These listings provide advance notice to vendors but are not yet open for responses.

1206 Georgetown Storm Drainage Improvement Project

The project is bounded by Pondella Drive to the West and North, Georgetown Drive to the South and Rosada Ave to the East. The project involves storm drainage improvements along Georgetown Rd primarily with some improvements in intersections with Rosada Avenue and Pondella Drive.

2500 Briargrove Dr. Storm Drainage Improvement Project

This project involves installing a closed drainage system down both Briargrove Dr. and Milton Rd. to reroute runoff from an existing stream. The proposed closed drainage system ties back into the existing culvert under Colby Pl.

6th and Graham Storm Drainage Improvement Project

The purpose and need for this construction project is to improve the storm drainage infrastructure (i.e. pipe systems and culverts) to reduce flooding and to enhance degraded stream reaches to reduce erosion and improve water quality. This project is under review. Location and project details will be provided after review is complete.

718 Harwyn Dr. Storm Drainage Improvement Project

Project proposed to replace an existing culvert system under Harwyn Dr. with 2 - 3x5 box culverts, as well as a pipe cleaning effort through the triple 54in RCP culvert at downstream Eaves Ln.

7th Street Parallel Bike Routes REV 2-2026

This project will build bike facilities in several different locations throughout the Elizabeth neighborhood.

9832 Grasmere Dr Storm Drainage Improvement Project

The scope of this project will be the installation of approximately 160 LF of concrete block retaining wall to address severe bank erosion.

Airport Family Assistance Plan Consultant

The Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) will provide a coordinated and proactive approach to any significant incident and/or event that impacts the CLT Community and the respective airlines that serve CLT.

Airport Logistics Warehouse

To relocate approximately 30,000 square feet of supplies and equipment from our current logistics space to a newly, upfitted offsite location. Requesting services for inventory management, physical move, and establishing an efficient organizational system in the new facility.

Airport On-Call Architectural Consultant Services

Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is seeking statements of qualifications from professional architecture, architectural engineering, and design-focused firms to provide task order architecture and design concept services.

Active Opportunities

Most of the City of Charlotte's contracting opportunities are posted on the Charlotte Bonfire Procurement Hub. This is where solicitations for most city departments, including CATS, General Services, CDOT, Planning, Charlotte Water and Storm Water Services, are located.
