Join us for a community celebration to mark the official opening of Tuckaseegee Arboretum & Gardens on the grounds of City of Charlotte Landscape Management. This space is home to a variety of tree species and contains demonstration gardens, pollinator habitats and other educational and recreational features. It's the perfect way to celebrate Pollinator Month and kick off Pollinator Week!

This family-friendly, FREE event includes the following:

  • Music, food and drinks
  • Guided tours
  • Resource tables featuring local nonprofits and community groups
  • Kids' activities and games
  • A formal opening ceremony at 10:30 a.m.

During the event local officials and staff from the City of Charlotte Landscape Management team will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new public space.
