The City of Charlotte celebrates Pollinator Month

JUNE IS POLLINATOR MONTH

National Pollinator Week 2026 is June 22-28! 

Did you know that pollinators are more than bees? Other pollinators include butterflies, bats, birds, moths and even beetles! The work they do ensures the plants they pollinate produce the food and medicines we need to survive. The importance of pollinators can't be overstated! As a designated Bee City USA, the City of Charlotte celebrates Pollinator Month each year with a series of events and activities designed to educate the public about the value of pollinators to our ecosystem.

The City Arborist's Office is challenges YOU to learn more about local pollinators and ways you can help them thrive! If you answer all the questions, you'll be entered in a drawing to win a Pollinator Care Package container plant seeds, books, stationery and other surprises. The quizzes are intended the educate you, so correct answers will be revealed as you answer each question. Change your answer as many times as you like until you get the correct answer, and you'll see an educational tidbit. All quizzes close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1.
