The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Community Relations Committee is hosting a virtual panel discussion on immigration rights in Charlotte. This event will feature panelists from Sussman Law Firm, Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy, American Civil Liberties Union of NC, and the Immigrant Network.

Nondiscrimination Ordinance Information Session

September 25, 2025

In this interactive session, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Community Relations staff will cover what the nondiscrimination ordinance is; what public accommodations and employment protections exist; how to submit a complaint; and what the investigative process is like.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Parade

January 17, 2026

Every year, over 100 community organizations, marching bands, and step and drill teams parade through the streets of uptown Charlotte as thousands cheer them on.
