Charlotte-Mecklenburg Community Relations Committee Meeting

The Community Relations Committee (CRC) serves as trusted resident advisors, offering city staff a valuable perspective on human relations issues impacting the community. CRC members deliberate on proposed initiatives and facilitate communication between the committee, community and elected officials. The responsibilities of the committee also include identifying emerging community concerns, supporting violence prevention efforts and proactive conflict resolution, collaborating with partner agencies on community initiatives, strengthening the connection between police officers and residents, and hosting events that highlight and celebrate those who have made a lasting impact in our community.

 

CRC meetings, held on the third Tuesday of every month, are open to the public. They alternate between being held in person and virtually.

 

When held in person, the meeting is at the Belmont Center, 700 Parkwood Ave., Charlotte, NC 28205.
