Part of Pollinator Month

Join us at the Tuckaseegee Arboretum & Gardens (TAG) demonstration pollinator habitat for a hands-on Pollinator Week celebration. Participants will enjoy a guided tour of our arboretum and pollinator gardens and learn how native plants support bees, butterflies and other beneficial species, led by our community’s favorite bug expert, City Arborist Laurie Reid.

During this fun, hands-on “catch and release” activity, kids and adults can get an up-close look at pollinators, learn to spot a few native species and find out what helps them thrive. It’s a great way to explore the garden together, build awareness about local pollinator habitats and discover why protecting our native pollinators is so important for our community.
