Creek Week 2026 will take place March 21st- 28th, 2026, with The Big Spring Clean rounding up the week on the 28th from 9 am-12 pm. This is a week dedicated to celebrating and appreciating our surface waters through volunteering, education, and environmental stewardship.

The Big Spring Clean

The Big Spring Clean takes place on the final day of Creek Week where hundreds of volunteers gather at sites around Mecklenburg County to remove as much litter from our creeks as we can! The Big Spring Clean 2026 will take place on March 28th 9 AM- 12 PM. See below to find a site available near you!
