Leave carts out until collected; service may be delayed. If not collected by 6 p.m. Friday, call 311. There will be no yard waste this week.
The Severn/Tyndale Storm Drainage Improvement Project will reduce street and structure flooding throughout the neighborhood. Located within a drainage area of approximately 115 acres, the project will replace and/or rehabilitate aging infrastructure and provide improved drainage system capacity. The project area is bordered by Sulkirk Road to the north, Chandworth Road to the south, Champaign Street to the east and Rhodes Avenue to the west.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services and engineering consultant D&A Wolverine have acquired all easements needed for construction and the project’s design phase is complete.
The bid phase has started and the final design plans will be circulated to qualified contractors for a competitive bidding process. Once City Council awards the contract, construction will be scheduled.
