Recovery
Recovery from a disaster or emergency is a complex process that requires a collective approach involving local, state, and federal agencies, non-profit organizations, and community members. It is crucial to understand that recovery is a collaborative journey that encompasses not just infrastructural restoration but also nurtures the emotional and psychological health of the community. We plan to recover, promoting community resiliency before a disaster occurs. The support of our non-profit partners enables us to assist residents through a wrap-around approach that ensures all aspects of recovery—economic, social, and emotional—are considered and integrated into the recovery plan.
