Oct. 22, 2026 - The city's portion of construction on this segment, along with landscaping, are substantially complete. The project is now in the warranty phase. Gaps in the trail are currently under construction through private developer projects.

Project Overview

This project extends the Cross Charlotte Trail main alignment from East Craighead Road to North Tryon Street. Several areas of this segment are being built through private development projects required by the transit-oriented ordinance.
