Cross Charlotte Trail Segment 08: North Tryon Street to Orr Road

Oct. 22, 2026 - Construction for this project is substantially complete and the project is now open to the public. The project is now in the warranty phase. All work is guaranteed by the contractor for one year. During this time, city inspectors will perform inspections at the 6- and 11-month marks.

Part of the Cross Charlotte Trail 

Project Overview

This project completes a new segment of the Cross Charlotte Trail through the Hidden Valley neighborhood from approximately North Tryon Street to Orr Road. The project team has identified locations that connects the trail to the broader area bicycle and pedestrian network as well as to the LYNX Blue Line.
