April 15, 2026 - The Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) contract is progressing through the approval process with all signatories. The requisition for design services has been submitted and is currently undergoing final approval. The design process is expected to start in late April or early May of 2026.
The Robinson Church Road Phase 2 project will be delivered using the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) method, which includes planning, design and construction administration. The project includes roadway, pedestrian and bicyclist improvements along Robinson Church Road from approximately 800 feet east of Plott Road to Deluca Drive. It also includes the construction of 12-foot-wide shared-use paths to close existing sidewalk gaps as well as left-turn lane improvements and signal modifications at Hood Road.
Community outreach and engagement opportunities include public meetings, stakeholder coordination, direct communication with affected property owners and project notifications regarding schedule, construction activities, traffic impacts and access considerations. Affected residents will receive postcards notifying them of engagement opportunities and project updates.
