Tracking and Reporting
The 2040 Annual Report and Policy Tracker (formerly the Implementation Dashboard) are the outcomes of annual tracking and reporting on the implementation progress of the goals, objectives and policies of the Charlotte Future 2040 Comprehensive Plan (the Plan). Directions for how the annual report is published can be found in the accompanying documents to the Plan, including the Charlotte Future 2040 Implementation Strategy (the Implementation Strategy) and the Manuals and Metrics. Both documents provide guidance for short-term action items and tracking plan progress.
As part of the Plan’s implementation strategy, the 2024 Annual Report describes ongoing and accomplished tasks slated for the 2024 calendar year. The 2024 Annual Report highlights projects and programs our city and county partners implemented to achieve the city’s vision and 10 Plan goals.
So many important goals have been realized since the first annual report was published in 2022, and we expect those successes to continue throughout the Plan’s timeline. Explore the previous publications to see the progress.
