NOTE: CTAC meeting date and time will be the second Tuesday of each month from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. 

CTAC's Mission

  • Review and provide guidance on guidelines within the Charlotte Tree Manual

  • Serve in a quasi-judicial role in determining appeals and variances related to the Charlotte Tree Ordinance

  • To advise and support City Council and assist City leaders on issues affecting Charlotte' urban forest

  • Administer the Mayor's Crown Tree Awards Program

Appeal and Variance Hearing Information

  • Appeals and Variances Fee - $1600 (Effective 7/1/25)

NOTE: Applications must be fully completed and include fee payment to be considered.
