SummaryThis project will generally include the demolition and installation of Primary Clarifier No. 4 and Primary Clarifier No. 5 mechanisms. This project also includes replacement of pinch valves in BTB No. 3 and BTB No. 4 Rate Control Structures with new plug valves. Within the Headworks and Influent Pumping Station, grit suction and discharge piping, valves, and appurtenances will be replaced.

Knife gate valves on the discharge header of the first stage pumps will also be replaced with new plug valves. This project includes rehabilitation of existing slide gates at Primary Clarifier No. 4, Primary Clarifier No. 5, and the Headworks and Influent Pumping Station.

The City requires the awarded vendor(s) to obtain and maintain the following insurance coverage types:

Automobile-For automobile operations liability
General Liability-For bodily injury or property damage, arising from products, premises, completed work, personal & advertising injury
Workers Compensation-For lost wages and medical expenses of injured workers

Bonding Requirements

The City plans to require the following bond(s) for this solicitation:

Bid Bond-City required Bond to ensure that vendors do not retract bids from the time they submit a bit until the contract has been executed.
Payment Bond-City required Bond to ensure that subcontractors and/or suppliers are paid for any work performed.
Performance Bond-City required Bond to ensure satisfactory completion of a project by the vendor.
