Charlotte City Council to Hold Special Meeting on June 1

Pursuant to G.S. 143-318.12 (b)(2), (e) and Sec. 3.02 of the City of Charlotte Charter, Charlotte City Council will hold a special meeting on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 5 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, located at 600 East Fourth Street, in Room 267.

The purpose of this meeting is for the City Council Straw Votes meeting on potential adjustments to the FY 2027 Proposed Budget Presentation, previously scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. in Room 267.

The public may access the meeting in-person or livestream on the city’s YouTube or Government Channel.
