The Community Partnership Grant is a funding opportunity offered by Housing & Neighborhood Services to support collaborative projects between community-based nonprofit organizations and neighborhood-based organizations in Charlotte. This competitive grant supports programs, services, or projects that provide a direct and measurable benefit to neighborhoods.

The program is designed for nonprofit organizations that partner with neighborhood-based organizations to strengthen community impact, build local capacity, and advance shared goals.

Application Status Applications for this program are currently closed. The next funding cycle date has not yet been determined. Updates will be posted here when a new cycle is announced.

Preparing for Future Funding Cycles: While this program is not currently accepting applications, organizations are encouraged to begin preparing by:

  • Identifying a project idea aligned with one of the program's focus areas: Youth Development & Education, Health Wellness & Community Safety, Community Engagement Education & Leadership, Arts Culture & Cultural Preservation, Food Access & Nutrition, or Environmental Stewardship & Sustainability
  • Building or strengthening partnerships with neighborhood-based organizations (e.g., neighborhood associations, HOAs, resident-led groups in rental communities, or neighborhood coalitions)
  • Documenting your project concept, estimated costs, and intended community impact
