Lead Where You Live
Want to make a difference in the community? The “Lead Where You Live” workshops are designed to help Charlotte residents build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to become active participants in shaping their neighborhoods and the broader community. Through interactive sessions, participants will explore how local government functions, discover pathways for civic involvement, and connect with fellow residents who share a passion for making Charlotte stronger and more inclusive.
This new, free 3-part series on civic engagement, local leadership, and creating real change in your community features workshops designed to empower participants to create meaningful change in their communities. Whether you're new to civic engagement or looking to amplify your impact, you will gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to lead where you live.
Registration is required to reserve your seat in a workshop. You are welcome to register for any session, but for the most complete experience, we encourage you to register and attend all three. Workshop capacity is limited so we ask that you commit to attending the session(s) for which you register.
