Overview

The Sunview/Telfair Storm Drainage Improvement Project involves analysis of existing conditions to determine portions of the storm drainage system needing improvement, planning analysis of improvement alternatives, and design and construction of needed improvements. The project is located within a drainage area of approximately 146 acres. The project area is bordered by Archdale Drive to the north, Old Reid Road to the south, Park Road to the east and Old Reid Road to the west.

July 2025

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services is working with Onsite Development LLC, to construct storm drainage improvements near 5706 Telfair Road. Thank you for your patience.

Telfair Road between Archdale Drive and Sunview Drive is anticipated to close on July 14 for approximately 2 weeks.
Access to residences will be maintained.
To ensure the safety of motorists, pedestrians and crew, please follow all signs.
