Overview  

The Severn/Tyndale Storm Drainage Improvement Project will reduce street and structure flooding throughout the neighborhood. Located within a drainage area of approximately 115 acres, the project will replace and/or rehabilitate aging infrastructure and provide improved drainage system capacity. The project area is bordered by Sulkirk Road to the north, Chandworth Road to the south, Champaign Street to the east and Rhodes Avenue to the west.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services held a public meeting on November 8, 2023 to present the proposed improvements and begin the easement acquisition process for the Severn/Tyndale Storm Drainage Improvement Project.
