Overview

The Lorna/Laburnum Storm Drainage Improvement Project will reduce street and structure flooding throughout the neighborhood. Located within a drainage area of approximately 50 acres, the project will replace and/or rehabilitate aging infrastructure and provide adequate drainage system capacity. The project area is bordered by Bascom Street to the north, Briar Creek to the south, Bay Street and Laburnum Avenue to the east and Kingsbury Drive to the west.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services is hosting a public meeting to present the proposed improvements and begin the design phase for the Lorna/Laburnum Storm Drainage Improvement Project. Please join us to learn more about the project’s goals. The project team will be available to answer questions.
