Overview

The Laurel Storm Drainage Improvement Project will reduce street flooding in the area. Located within a drainage area of approximately 52 acres, the project will replace and/or rehabilitate aging infrastructure and provide adequate drainage system capacity. The project area is bordered by Laurel Avenue to the north, Dotger Avenue to the south, Randolph Road to the east and Hempstead Place to the west.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services is hosting a public meeting to present the proposed improvements and begin the easement acquisition phase for the Laurel Storm Drainage Improvement Project. Please join us to learn more about the project’s goals. The project team will be available to answer questions.
