Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services will begin construction soon. On February 9, City Council awarded the construction contract to Hux Contracting. Construction is scheduled to start on July 13 and is anticipated to take 18 months.
During the next few weeks, these activities maybe underway: locating, flagging, marking and relocating utilities.
During the project, a road closure is planned for a portion of Morgan Street between Williamson Street and Hoskins Road. A mailer will be sent in advance with the anticipated road closure date and length.
