Project Overview

The project will widen and/or add improvements to Robinson Church Road from W.T. Harris Boulevard to Harrisburg Road. The project will be built in two phases.

PHASE 1(PDF, 3MB) will be from Harris Boulevard to the Plott Road and Highland Avenue intersection and will allow for the construction of landscaped medians, curb & gutter, shared-use paths, planting strips and a roundabout at the Plott Road intersection.

PHASE 2(PDF, 10MB) will extend from the end of Phase 1 at the Plott Road and Highland Avenue intersection to Harrisburg Road. Specifics and scope of this phase are currently being developed.

Project Goals

  • To improve travel conditions for vehicles

  • To promote safe and sustainable travel options for pedestrians and bicyclists

  • To increase intersection capacity and level of service at the Plott Road and Highland Avenue intersection

Public Involvement

The project team will inform residents of project milestones and any engagement activities through email, postcards and social media. The following public meetings have taken place:
