Ben Craig Drive Extension

Announcement

February 25, 2026 - This project is moving into the real estate acquisition phase. During this phase, the city acquires the property rights needed to build and maintain the project. City real estate agents will reach out to affected property owners to discuss the acquisition process and answer any questions.

Project Overview

This project will connect the existing terminus of Ben Craig Drive to the Alexan Research Park development at Kenbrooke Drive.

Project Goals

To increase connectivity for motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists
To improve neighborhood access to retail and other businesses

Public Involvement

The project team will inform residents of project milestones and any engagement activities through email, postcards and social media.
