April 10, 2024 - Construction is finished and the project is now in the one-year warranty phase. In the coming weeks, street trees will be planted inside the planting strips. During the warranty phase, General Services performs inspections of the project area at the 6- and 11-month marks to identify any defects the contractor should correct at no cost before final acceptance by the city.

This project will make improvements on the north side of the Northwest School of the Arts to LaSalle Street. It will remove existing sidewalks and install 0.281 miles of new sidewalks on the west side of Beatties Ford Road between LaSalle Street to the Northwest School of the Arts. The project will also provide curb ramps, driveways, planting strips and retaining walls in key locations along the eastbound side of Beatties Ford Road from LaSalle Street to the Northwest School of the Arts.
