Future Forward Charlotte

Future Forward Charlotte, which launched in June 2025, is a foundational initiative to better align education and workforce training with the evolving needs of local industries. The collaborative effort is powered by a partnership with the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL), a national nonprofit, and the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance.

RENEW

RENEW is a skill-based short-term training program paired with industry certification that educations and prepares participants for career opportunities in energy efficient and sustainable technologies with an average starting salary of $50,000. Program graduates receive a paid work-based learning experience, with the high potential for permanent job placement with program partners.
