  • SummaryAs part of the latest phase of the Mallard Creek Solids Improvements Project, CLT Water completed a condition assessment and an optimization and reliability study. Areas needing improvement were identified and documented in a PER. Final designs were completed, and the construction of this project will be bid in the summer of 2026.

Construction will include components of solids treatment including: spiral heat exchangers, recirculation pumps, sludge transfer pumps, feed pumps, hot water feed pumps, gas treatment, new waste biogas flare , a new e-house, new boiler building and boilers, as well as digester building improvements (e.g. trench drains, doors, guardrails, handrails, hoist, concrete repairs, HVAC, water piping, vents) Full rehabilitation of the existing drying beds is also included.

Insurance Requirements

The City requires the awarded vendor(s) to obtain and maintain the following insurance coverage types:

  • Automobile-For automobile operations liability
  • General Liability-For bodily injury or property damage, arising from products, premises, completed work, personal & advertising injury: $1,000,000
  • Workers Compensation-For lost wages and medical expenses of injured workers: $500,000
