The words

Give feedback on design ideas for the West End interchange area, including opportunities for new development, ideas for community spaces, and recommendations for better walking and biking conditions. Refreshments will be served.

The Reconnecting the West End project is a city initiative looking at the potential future of the West End Interchange (Interstate 77/Fifth Street/Trade Street). The purpose of the Reconnecting the West End project is to study the interchange area and develop recommendations that will help overcome the barrier created by I-77 between the West End and Uptown.

This project focuses on real possibilities for the I-77 West End interchange and how those potential alternatives will shape the future of the Historic West End of Charlotte.

The City of Charlotte is committed to making our services and programs accessible to all. Upon request, auxiliary aids, written materials in alternative formats, language access and other reasonable accommodations or modifications will be provided. To make a request, please email CharlotteDOT@charlottenc.gov or call 704-336-4119.
