Plant it Forward: a TAG Woodland Planting Series

Get ready to dig in and have some fun! Join us at the Tuckaseegee Arboretum & Gardens (TAG) for two exciting days of bringing our brand-new woodland garden habitat to life. Whether you're a seasoned plant pro or just curious to get your hands dirty, this is your chance to jump in!

We’ll be rolling up our sleeves to prep and enrich the soil, plant a variety of greenery (big and small!), spread mulch, water our new leafy friends and even create plant tags to label our growing garden. Don’t worry—we’ve got all the tools (and gloves!) covered.

We’ll keep you fueled with light snacks and refreshments! Just bring along sunscreen, bug spray, a hat and wear close-toed shoes. Long sleeves and pants are a great idea because yes, you will get gloriously dirty!

No experience? No problem! Our friendly staff will be there every step of the way to guide you. Come grow with us—it’s going to be a blooming good time!
