Want to help better Charlotte's urban ecosystem? Come join the city's Landscape Management team to help remove invasive plants that have taken over one of our pollinator gardens and wooded areas. Removing invasive species like the mimosa tree, white mulberry and Japanese ligustrum helps support our native plants and animals, who are often outcompeted by invasives.

WHAT TO BRING: Please wear comfortable, close-toed shoes and long pants and bring a hat, sunscreen and a water bottle. Materials and tools needed for plant removal will be provided.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Tuesday, May 5 at 5 p.m.

LIABILITY WAIVER: You will be required to sign a liability waiver when you check in.

PARKING: Please park in the lower lot at the Belmont Center (700 Parkwood Avenue). The garden is located nearby on the other side of the greenway (at 608 Parkwood Avenue). A map will be provided to all participants when they sign up.
