Expanding Opportunities Throughout District 1

Residents will have the opportunity to join Council Member Anderson for a fireside chat with city representatives discussing:

• Workforce Development – Apprenticeships, Skilled to Build, small business opportunities in the Strategic Investment Areas (SIA)
• Economic Development – Update on jobs, companies attracted in 2025 and business outlook in 2026
• Housing – Current and future outlook for housing in District 1
• Safety – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Charlotte Fire Department, and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Emergency Management
