District 3 Community Development Workshop

Join Council Member Mayo for a District 3 Community Development Workshop. This workshop is designed to help residents understand how development decisions are made, when community input matters most, and how neighbors can work together to shape projects in ways that benefit our communities.
Topics include:
- UDO 101: By-right vs. Rezoning
- Working with Developers
- Community Benefit Agreements (CBAs)
You will learn:
- The difference between by-right development and rezoning
- Opportunities for meaningful community input in the development process
- How residents can work productively with developers
- What CBAs are and their effective use
- How to stay informed about projects in District 3
