The mission of the Charlotte Tree Advisory Commission (CTAC) is to:

  • Review and provide feedback on guidelines within the Charlotte Tree Manual
  • Serve in a quasi-judicial role in determining appeals and variances related to the Charlotte Tree Ordinance
  • Advise the City Manager on issues affecting Charlotte's urban forest
