ADA On-Site Demonstration Training and Lunch and Learn

The City of Charlotte is looking to install ADA-compliant curb ramps and sidewalk in several locations in Charlotte by the end of 2026. The city is offering a FREE TRAINING to prospective contractors on the requirements to install ADA-compliant curb ramps and sidewalk. 

The event will be held on Dec. 11 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will begin with an on-site demonstration at Griers Grove Road and Plumstead Road from 8 a.m. to noon. A lunch and learn will follow from 1-2 p.m. at the Charlotte Department of Transportation Street Maintenance-Northpointe located at 4411 Northpointe Industrial Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28216.

  • Existing concrete sidewalk

Installation of:

  • Concrete curb and gutter
  • Concrete sidewalk
  • Concrete curb ramps
