Charlotte City Council to Hold Special Meeting on May 14

Pursuant to G.S. 143-318.12 (b)(2), (e) and Sec. 3.02 of the City of Charlotte Charter, Charlotte City Council will hold a special meeting on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 1 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, located at 600 East Fourth Street, in Room 267.

The purpose of this meeting is to receive an update on the I-77 South Express Lanes Project and to take any other actions related to the project.

The public may access the meeting in-person or livestream on the city’s YouTube or Government Channel.
