Solid Waste Services will not collect Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. Put carts out by 6 a.m. on your collection day. If your cart is not collected within 48 hours of your collection day, call 311 to report a missed collection.

Charlotte City Council to Hold Special Meeting March 25

Pursuant to G.S. 143-318.12 (b)(2), (e) and Sec. 3.02 of the City of Charlotte Charter, Charlotte City Council will hold a special meeting for Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 1 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Government Center in the Council Chamber at 600 East Fourth Street, Charlotte, North Carolina 28202.

The purpose of this meeting is to consider business related to the I-77 South Express Lanes Project and conduct further business, as necessary.

The public may access the meeting in person or livestream on the city’s YouTube or Government Channel.
