Charlotte City Council to Hold Special Meeting June 18

Pursuant to G.S. 143-318.12 (b)(2), (e) and Sec. 3.02 of the City of Charlotte Charter, Charlotte City Council will hold a special meeting on Thursday, June 18, at noon. The meeting will be held at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, located at 600 E. Fourth St., in room 267.
The purpose of this meeting is for City Council to conduct interviews of qualified candidates for the Interim Mayor position and to discuss and take any other action necessary to facilitate the mayoral appointment process.
The public may access the meeting in person or via livestream on the city’s YouTube or Government Channel.
