Pursuant to G.S. 143-318.12 (b)(2), a special meeting of the Charlotte City Council will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 10:00am. The meeting will be held at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Government Center, Room 267, at 600 East Fourth Street, Charlotte, North Carolina 28202. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct a joint meeting with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Board of Education, the Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners, and members of the North Carolina General Assembly who represent Mecklenburg County. The meeting is open to the public.

The City Clerk's Office provides services that connect citizens to their government and maintains a recorded history of government actions. These services include Mayor and Council assistance, records management and research, boards and commissions administration, and customer service to both internal and external customers.
