The Community Cat Spay/Neuter program was created to help lower the overpopulation of feral and community cats in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area.
This program is specific to cats that are not owned (meaning no one is caring for or feeding roaming cats) in Charlotte-Mecklenburg. It is not meant for cats who are going to be re-homed. All cats that participate in this program must come in a humane cat trap.
This program is $25 per cat and includes all of the following required services:
- Ear Tipping
- Microchip
- 1 year distemper vaccine
- 1 year rabies vaccine
We can only accommodate up to 3 ferals. If you have a colony you are caring for, please reach out to Friends of Feral Felines. Applications for 4 or more cats will not be accepted.
We highly recommend checking with the following low-cost clinics below to see if they have an appointment available sooner.
