Overview

The Riverbend Storm Drainage Improvement Project will reduce street and structure flooding throughout the neighborhood. Located within a drainage area of approximately 99 acres , the project will replace and/or rehabilitate aging infrastructure and provide improved drainage system capacity. The Riverbend Storm Drainage Improvement Project is bordered by Park Rd. to the west and is centrally located at the intersections of Ashton Drive and Riverbend Road along with the intersection of Whistlestop Road and Riverbend Road.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services is hosting a public meeting to present the proposed improvements and begin the easement acquisition phase for the Riverbend Storm Drainage Improvement Project. Please join us to learn more about the project’s goals and recommended design solution. The project team will be available to answer questions.
