Development Services Technical Advisory Committee

The City of Charlotte provides land development services, including regulatory plan reviews and inspections, to support development within the city. To remain responsive and flexible in serving the dynamic land development community, consistent communication and feedback opportunities are essential. To achieve this, the City is establishing the Development Services Technical Advisory Committee (DSTAC). The committee will serve in an advisory capacity, offering input on technical and procedural regulatory issues related to development in Charlotte.

The DSTAC will function as a forum for:

  • Discussing policy and procedural changes or conflicts related to plan approval, inspection services, and enforcement of land development requirements.
  • Providing recommendations, as appropriate, to improve processes and ensure effective collaboration between the City and the development community.

Meeting Information

  • The DSTAC will meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 3:00 p.m.
  • Meetings are in person for committee members.
