Zoning and Permitting Guidebook Consulting Services

Closing date February 27, 2026, 05:00 PM

Description

To empower local entrepreneurs and streamline commercial revitalization, the City of Charlotte’s Corridors of Opportunity Program is soliciting quotes for the creation of a Small Business Zoning and Permitting Guide. The project’s goal is to convert technical city codes into an accessible, user-friendly resource that supports small businesses and Business District Organizations (BDOs) in navigating land-use processes. The selected partner will be responsible for compiling step-by-step instructions, property-leasing checklists and resource directories tailored to the unique development landscape of our commercial corridors. This guidebook will act as the city’s primary bridge between regulatory compliance and business growth, ensuring that both individual owners and property managers have the clarity needed to open and expand successfully.
