Moth Night at Tuckaseegee Arboretum & Gardens
Next date: Monday, July 21, 2025 | 08:30 PM
to 11:00 PM

THIS EVENT IS PART OF POLLINATOR WEEK!
Join North Carolina Wildlife Foundation (NCWF) Charlotte Wildlife Stewards chapter, the City of Charlotte and NCWF staff at the Tuckaseegee Arboretum & Gardens for participation in National Moth Week. We will use UV blacklights and moth bait to attract, observe and record the moths we encounter with iNaturalist. By using iNaturalist to document our findings, we are helping scientists learn about local moths! Not only are moths great pollinators, but they are also an important food source for breeding birds and other wildlife! You won’t want to miss out on this FAMILY-FRIENDLY NIGHT OF FUN!
