Overview

The Westbourne Storm Drainage Improvement Project will reduce street and structure flooding throughout the neighborhood. Located within a drainage area of approximately 72 acres, the project will replace aging infrastructure and provide adequate system capacity. The project area is bordered by Pleasant Grove Road to the north, Bellhaven Boulevard to the south, Brookshire Boulevard to the east and McClure Circle to the west.

April 2024

Project update

• On April 1, Westbourne Drive closed between Balfour Lane and Falconhurst Drive. The closure is anticipated to last five weeks. 

• On April 22, the intersection of Westbourne Drive and Falconhurst Drive will be closed. The closure is anticipated to last 30 days. 

• Access to residences will be maintained.

• To ensure the safety of motorists, pedestrians and crew, please follow all signs.

• Additional road closures associated with this project are planned for Balfour Lane and Ravenwood Road. Residents directly affected by these closures will be notified in advance as construction progresses in those areas.

            

Estimated Cost: $3,300,000*

*includes all costs associated with this project such as planning and design, utility relocation, consultant fees, permits, construction, and landscaping.
