Overview

The Edgewater/Rosecrest Storm Drainage Improvement Project will reduce street and structure flooding throughout the neighborhood. Located within a drainage area of approximately 485 acres, the project will replace and/or rehabilitate aging infrastructure and provide adequate drainage system capacity. The project area is bordered by Emerywood Drive to the north, Starbrook Drive to the south, Little Sugar Creek to the east and South Boulevard to the west.

Project Updates

February 2025

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services and engineering consultant LaBella continue with the design phase. The project will replace and/or rehabilitate aging infrastructure and provide adequate drainage system capacity. The project team is developing detailed drawings for the proposed improvements.
