Announcement

Oct. 10, 2025 - The utility relocation phase has started. During this phase, utility infrastructure, such as underground gas, water and sewer lines, as well as overhead power, telephone and television lines, are moved as needed to make way for construction for the project improvements. The project is expected to go out for bid in March 2026, and construction is expected to start in 2027.

Project Overview

This project will construct 0.34 miles of new, 6-foot-wide concrete sidewalk, driveway improvements and wheelchair ramps on Lawyers Road from Chestnut Lake Drive to Harri Ann Drive. 

Project Goals

  • To improve pedestrian safety and mobility
  • To enhance connectivity along Lawyers Road

Public Involvement

The project will engage nearby residents through in-person and/or virtual public meetings. Details will be shared on the project web page and postcards will be sent to nearby residents.
