Lawyers Road Sidewalk

Announcement

May 19, 2026 - This project is now in the bid phase. The city uses a competitive bidding process to procure the services of a contractor to build the project. By state law, the contract is awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. Construction is expected to start in early 2027.

Project Overview

This project will construct 0.34 miles of new, 6-foot-wide concrete sidewalk, driveway improvements and wheelchair ramps on Lawyers Road from Chestnut Lake Drive to Harri Ann Drive. 

Project Goals

  • To improve pedestrian safety and mobility
  • To enhance connectivity along Lawyers Road

Public Involvement

The project will engage nearby residents through in-person and/or virtual public meetings. Details will be shared on the project web page and postcards will be sent to nearby residents.
