Overview

The Kenilworth/Romany Storm Drainage Improvement Project will reduce street and structure flooding throughout the neighborhood. Located within a drainage area of approximately 233 acres, the project will replace and/or rehabilitate aging infrastructure and provide adequate drainage system capacity. The project area is bordered by Berkely Avenue to the north, Buchanan Street to the south, Morehead Street to the east and East Boulevard to the west. 

Project Updates

December 2023

Construction of the Kenilworth/Romany Storm Drainage Improvement Project is complete. Storm Water Services will continue to monitor the project during the next 12 months as part of the warranty phase. The construction inspector will conduct 6- and 11-month inspections during the warranty period. If needed, the contractor will return to the site to make repairs.
