Overview

The East Fourth Storm Drainage Improvement Project will study a drainage area of approximately 50 acres. If storm drainage improvements are needed, the project will replace and/or rehabilitate aging infrastructure and provide adequate drainage system capacity. This project area runs along East 4th Street from Barnette Place to Little Sugar Creek.

February 2025

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services and engineering consultant ESP have completed the study of the existing storm drainage system in the East Fourth project area.

The project is moving into the design phase, and the project team will develop detailed drawings for the proposed improvements.
